About this Course

People often list “getting organized” as New Year’s Resolution. They start the year with great intentions, but many times they don’t have a plan. We will provide you with both inspiration and a road map for success from an organizer who knows her stuff during this course.

Cindy Jobs will show you the cost of disorganization, provide the motivation for organization, and give you tips and strategies to both get and stay organized.

This eight-week course will cover:

  1. Taking a high-level view of the cost of physical and mental clutter, we will help you determine what “organized” means to you and how to determine your “why” behind getting organized.
  2. “Environment wins every time.” Yes, even though we have the best intentions, if our environment doesn’t support our needs, it’s harder to make and sustain change. We will explore why this is and how to create an environment that wins for us.
  3. Time and energy management go hand in hand. We will explore how to manage both time and energy to meet our daily needs.
  4. Prioritization is key to making change. We will explore multiple ways to prioritize both projects and tasks to maintain motivation and create success.
  5. Choosing the right calendar or planner for how your brain works is key to keeping things straight. We will review different styles of calendars and planners to help you decide what’s right for you.
  6. Paper, paper, and more paper! No matter how hard we may try, paper still gets the best of us. We will review the best paper management tools and help you determine the best strategy to decide what to keep, file, shred, or toss.
  7. Do you have a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear? You are not alone. During this class, we will look at ways to determine what to purge and how to organize what’s left.
  8. Is meal preparation a challenge for you? If so, we will discuss how to downsize and organize essential tools, making meal preparation a little less challenging.

About Cindy Jobs:

“Early in my organizing career, I worked with a woman diagnosed late in life with ADHD. The knowledge her diagnosis provided explained so much to her.

Together, we created an awareness of how her ADHD affected her daily life and worked to determine the organizational and support structures she needed to succeed. That woman became a long-time advocate and friend when our work together helped her create the life she wanted to live.

Through organizing and coaching, my clients can become more productive, successful, and reliable by understanding their strengths and challenges. I help clients break through the physical clutter in their lives to create a peaceful and tranquil environment where they and their loved ones can thrive.

However, I began to realize that sometimes—not always, but sometimes—our physical spaces reflect our state of mind. Physical discomfort in our personal spaces can be indicating internal discomforts as well.

As a Certified Organizer Coach, I help my clients become more aware of their physical space and the gaps in their awareness and subsequent processes that led them to their current predicament. I also help them realize that their mental and emotional state can affect their physical surroundings and vice versa.

As an ACC-certified coach, I have the skills necessary to help clients define goals and then organize themselves to act on their intentions and attain those goals. By focusing on goals and structuring follow-through, my clients organize their lives to achieve success. Success increased motivation to move forward and achieve their desired outcome over and over again.

Whether my clients look to me for coaching expertise, organizing proficiency, or both, together, we create the life they want to live.”
